Gifted Assessment

Purpose
Gifted assessments help to identify if a student meets the identification criteria, as outlined by local public school boards and private schools, for specialized gifted programming.

Outcomes

Outcomes from this assessment are used to support whether a student meets their school's criteria for gifted programming. Results will also provide a cognitive learning profile with noted areas of relative strength and weakness.
Recommendations from the assessment are often used to inform a school regarding a placement that may optimize a student's need for additional enrichment, teaching pace, and stimulation. They also provide parents with suggestions for supports outside of school/ in the home.

Dr. David is available to review assessment results and recommendations with a child's school team or other professionals involved in supporting the child.
